HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE PEOPLE IN THE AREA SO YOU CAN MAKE YOUR CHARACTER!!!
Races consist of the following: Human, elves, drows (dark elves), dwarves, dryads, natural kitsunes (wolf/human mix), natural nekosunes (cat/human mixes), experiment based kitsunes/nekosunes (the same as above except made that way by scientific experimentation), Dopplegangers (a creature that can take the form of any race within or gender however for this rpg a max of 3 different forms it can take aside from the standard form), shifters (a humanoid that can turn into up to two different animals) and half-breeds of any races above except of dopplegangers.
Classes/jobs include:
magician (aka wizard, sorcerer, etc): a magician can take NO MORE than two elements with the exception of reality magic which can only be learned by itself. The magician studies for years before being allowed to wear the robes of the god/goddess he/she represents. A magician takes their powers understanding they represent the god/goddess that allows them to use their elements. All magicians are born with their powers, but study to control them.
witch (aka warlock): A magician that allows their powers to control them is called a witch. A witch doesn't care who he/she hurts. A witch doesn't think or have a consensus, its powers just puppet it to do whatever they want him/her to do.
A merchant (aka a trader): they sell/trade items and such.
A scientist: Science being a new field, a scientist can work in really any basic field. This is setting up to be a steampunk world, meaning their technology is very different from ours and will end up being very different than ours. Most scientists are smart and wise, they invent new things, attempt to cure diseases, make the crops and harvestes better, etc. Some even try to combined magic and science into a very safe formula. But some scientists go mad. They begin to work in a scientific field that all of the continent call Black Science. Black Science usually uses humanoids as experiments. Most use technology in such a way that hurts the people they experiment, or uses a magic/science formula that isn't precise and does extreme hard. Any experiment based nekosune/kitsune is a result of a mad scientist using a magic splicing technique to change the humanoid's dna.
Senators (only in Skyrita): A senator is part of a council in the city of Skyrita, one of 39, that builds the laws that the optimistic city lives off of.
A Drake Rider (only Skyrita): A drake rider is a person that kind of acts as a police officer/fire fighter all in one for the city of Skyrita. They fly on the backs of drakes (a small, non-fire-breathing dragon like creature that only resides in the canyon near Skyrita).
A minor (mountain region only): mines for gems, metals, or coal. A dangerous job. Most commonly found in Brektonya
A farmer (plains region only): someone who works a farm.
Innkeeper (cities and villages only): someone who keeps an inn
Assassin: A person who works for the highest bidder to silently kill people they are paid off to do. They also work as bounty hunters if they need to. They always have an employer, who is the only one who knows their location and their identity. Their employer gives them assassin tips and talks to the people paying directly. The assassin always gives the yes or no in the end.
there are others that I am just drawing a blank on too.
Also, there is how one fits into society.
Citizen: someone who is accepted by a city to have the rights that that city holds for them. Just because one city accepts you as a citizen does not mean another does.
A protected outsider: Someone who does not reside in a city but gets equal safety from the city, and is in the same standing as a citizen.
A traveler: Someone who really doesn't have citizenship but is still welcomed in most cities with no problem. Sometimes they will be taxed if they are a traveling merchant or performer before entering the city.
An Outcast/Outlaw: An outcast is someone deemed by one city or another to be hunted for breaking the law as long as they live. Some cities will not answer to other's outlaw commands.
